Hey you facial hair loving freaks, and welcome to the Bearded Skeptic Education Blog! I'm so excited to finally launch this space and have a platform for sharing thoughts and resources. After working in education for the better part of a decade, I've come to the realization that working to uncover the truth and eliminate BS in education has slowly become more an imperative to me than a living. I've been an active skeptic for the past few years, gaining much of my devotion from the wonderful crew at The Skeptics Guide. Seriously, subscribe to their podcast for a weekly escape to reality. They've provided me with a solid science-based understanding of skepticism, but I think the need for a revolution in thinking stretches far deeper than than the realms of science.
I hope this post is the first of many as I/we work towards bringing truth and an objective understanding of reality into the classroom and greater educational landscape. Thinking is apparently more difficult than suspected, so hop on board and let the Bearded Skeptic be your guide to a BS-free tomorrow.
