Teacher Librarian Day 2015

  • History Colorado Center 1200 N Broadway Denver, CO, 80203 United States (map)

Teaching with Primary Sources at the Metropolitan State University of Denver in conjunction with History Colorado are proud to announce the 11th annual Teacher Librarian Day on Friday, February 27th, 2015.

This year we are piloting some exciting new format features including: increased audience involvement, an "un-conference" lunch, museum exhibit breakouts, and a very special "Educator Night at the Museum" after-hours reception.

The theme for the day will be Vital Viewpoints with the intention of allowing exploration of alternative perspectives leading to the creation of new unimagined understandings. Presentations will cover a wide range of topics, but will be focused though the lens of using primary sources in the classroom with an emphasis on inquiry, assessment, and the use of technology in the classroom.
